About The Role

EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market‑leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall.

All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.

We’re looking to recruit a

Compliance Assurance & Ethics Analyst to join our Routewide team based in Milton Keynes.

This role requires working in the office three days a week, with occasional travel to our site offices; a valid driving licence is essential.

In this role you will oversee and manage the ethics & compliance investigation process from initial referral or whistleblowing case to resolution.

This includes case allocation, recording, evidence collection, witness interviews, case review and proposed closure, while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and internal standards.

You will conduct detailed investigative analysis by reviewing records, system logs, transactional data and other evidence to detect anomalies, red flags and fraud indicators.

You’ll provide clear, well‑supported recommendations regarding offences, breaches or findings.

You will also administer and coordinate concerns raised through various Speak Up sources, including internal and external reporting platforms.

All reports will be logged, assessed, categorised and routed appropriately, maintaining oversight from submission to closure.

Comprehensive investigation reports will be produced and accurate case records maintained, consolidating findings into actionable insights.

You’ll monitor caseload performance and ensure reporting aligns with organisational goals and deadlines.

Additionally, you will collaborate with key stakeholders – legal counsel, the client’s Counter Fraud & Investigations team, HR, Industrial Relations and Health & Safety teams – to ensure seamless investigation processes and provide support where required.

You will ensure adherence to industry regulations, legal requirements and internal policies, aligning all investigative practices with ethical and regulatory standards.

You will also assist with awareness campaigns, briefings and training initiatives to promote understanding of reporting channels, encourage early intervention and foster a positive Speak Up culture across the joint venture.

About You

  • Extensive professional experience as an investigator or specialist in ethics, compliance, legal or governance, with strong knowledge of business ethics, compliance standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple investigations in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment, with attention to detail and strong data‑analysis skills to identify trends and patterns.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including drafting detailed reports and conducting professional interviews.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential data with the highest integrity and precision.
  • Strong creative thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions and challenge the status quo.
  • Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all organisational levels.
  • You must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
