About The Role
EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. EKFB are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join our Quality team based in Buckingham.
In this role, you'll need to understand and implement ownership of the ITP plans and their checklists, ensuring compliance throughout the construction phases. You will be working collaboratively with our site delivery teams to plan for product realisation through Inspection and Test Plan work packages and ensure suitability for our construction activities.
We would like you to understand and implement quality, technical assurance and completion requirements to ensure ITP's are in the EKFB format and conform with client requirements. You will be supporting with the delivery of all section related, construction phase quality, assurance and completions related activities to ensure the timely handover of project assets.
We'd like you to develop and utilise relationships with Designer, Client representatives and internal stakeholders to deliver all ITP related aspects of quality and assurance.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in a Quality or Completions role in a construction environment
- Hold a recognised Quality related qualification
- Member of the CQI
- Internal Auditor (ISO 9001 preferred)
- You must hold a CSCS card
- Excellent organisation skills
- You must hold a full driving license
