About The Role

EKFB is a joint venture combining international expertise in railway civil engineering from Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial, and BAM Nuttall. We require a Site Engineer to join the Small Dean Viaduct team, responsible for supervising junior engineers, coordinating construction operations, managing subcontractors, and ensuring programme, budget, and quality standards.

  • Coordinate labour, plant, and material allocation with Sub Agent and Section Foreman.
  • Lead the setting‑out team, managing performance and development of junior staff.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems on site alongside senior team.
  • Monitor subcontractors to meet contractual requirements.
  • Assist in programme development, progress reporting, resource and cost planning, and financial forecasting.

About You

  • HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent.
  • Working towards ICE institute membership.
  • Evidence of knowledge and practical application in Site Engineering activities.
  • Experience in heavy structures.
  • Own transport to access remote site locations and full driving licence.
  • CSCS card: White, White‑Yellow, Red‑Experienced, Black‑Manager or Gold‑Supervisor.
