About The Role
EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market‑leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. The company is responsible for the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high‑speed rail projects. We are looking to recruit a Compliance Assurance & Ethics Analyst to join our Routewide team based in Milton Keynes. This role requires working in the office three days a week, with occasional travel to our site offices; a valid driving licence is essential.
In this role you will oversee and manage the ethics and compliance investigation process, from initial referral or whistleblowing case to resolution. You will conduct detailed investigative analysis by reviewing records, system logs, transactional data and other evidence to detect anomalies, red flags and fraud indicators. You will produce comprehensive investigation reports and maintain accurate case records, consolidating findings into actionable insights.
Additionally, you will collaborate with key stakeholders—including the legal counsel, the client’s Counter Fraud & Investigations team, HR, Industrial Relations and Health & Safety teams—to ensure seamless investigation processes and provide support where required. You will assist with awareness campaigns, briefings and training initiatives to promote understanding of reporting channels and foster a positive Speak‑Up culture across the joint venture.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the administration and coordination of concerns raised through various Speak‑Up sources, including internal and external reporting platforms. • Ensure all reports are accurately logged, assessed, categorised and appropriately routed, maintaining oversight from submission to closure. • Monitor caseload performance and ensure reporting aligns with organisational goals and deadlines.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive professional experience as an investigator or specialist in ethics, compliance, legal or governance, with strong knowledge of business ethics, compliance standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage multiple investigations in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment, with attention to detail and strong data analysis skills to identify trends and patterns.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including drafting detailed reports and conducting professional interviews.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential data with the highest integrity and precision.
- Strong creative thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions and challenge the status quo.
- Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all organisational levels.
- Must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
