About The Role

EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.

Responsibilities

We are looking to recruit a Site Agent with Earthworks experience to join our team based in the Brackley area.

As an Agent you will assist with the construction strategy, including kick‑off meetings, pre‑commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction programmes, procurement and design deliverable schedules.

You will liaise with the Project Manager to allocate labour, plant, materials and temporary works to carry out activities to the required standards, programme and budget. You will also manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of site and Section Engineers.

You will assist with the coordination of construction operations, ensuring they conform to contract requirements and the required level of safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ). You will assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations and cost control.

Qualifications

• HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent.
• Knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
• Experience of working in Earthworks.
• Must hold the following competencies: SMSTS and CSCS White / White‑Yellow; Red – Experienced; Black – Manager; Gold – Supervisor.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
