Eidyn Care is a family-owned, award-winning Care at Home provider. We are expanding our team and seeking a Scheduler / Care Coordinator with the grit, intelligence, and heart to keep our carers running smoothly—and our clients receiving the high-quality, person-centred care they deserve. This role is not for the faint-hearted. You’ll be managing tight schedules, balancing staff availability, handling last-minute changes, and minimising travel time for our team. If you’re calm in a storm, obsessed with accuracy, and ready to be the nerve centre of an exceptional care team—we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and maintain weekly rotas, optimising travel and continuity of care
  • Work closely with Care Team Leads to plan schedules and ensure each run is safely staffed
  • Organise and record staff holidays, cover planned and unplanned absences, and keep the schedule running smoothly
  • React to last-minute changes and support with real-time problem-solving
  • Liaise with clients, families, and professionals to maintain continuity and trust
  • Participate in on-call duties (evenings/weekends on rotation)
  • Opportunity to move to full-time: spend half your time in the field doing spot checks, reviews & client assessments

What We’re Looking For

  • Experienced scheduler (ideally in domiciliary or healthcare settings)
  • Proven background in rota optimisation, absence management, and team support
  • Confident working with Care Team Leads and frontline carers
  • Excellent communication and planning skills
  • Ability to stay composed in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
  • Proficient in CarePlanner/ Nourish, PASS, or similar systems
  • Driver with own vehicle
  • SVQ 3 or willing to work toward it
  • Meticulous attention to detail — no shift falls through the cracks on your watch
