East Hampshire District Council is embarking on a new journey and is building a team that will help shape its new future. An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Planning Technical Support Team for a Planning Validation Officer. The role will focus on providing a proactive and efficient technical administrative support relating to the receipt of planning applications.
The right candidate will possess a high level of customer service, some knowledge of the planning process and a clear ability to work in a busy team. Excellent organisational and communication skills are required in order to provide professional support to the Planning Service.
The position will comprise a hybrid style of working, as a mix of both home and office-based working, to suit the work/life balance of the successful applicant. The role is a full time position but consideration will be given to flexible working arrangements.
