An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the newly created District Team as a District Team Officer. The District Team will provide a comprehensive, co-ordinated, customer facing response across the district. The team will be a visible presence undertaking proactive and reactive site-based activities which include parking management, community safety matters and environmental enforcement.
The proactive nature of this work will ensure that preventative actions are taken at an early stage, addressing potential problems before they become an issue. The reactive nature of this work will be effective, timely and appropriate the aim being to resolve matters following first contact from the customer.
You’ll be a conscientious and analytical person who will be responsible for your own case load. You will enjoy working outside, carrying out site visits, collaborative working with other officers and you will be responsible for a diverse workload, for which organisational and communication skills are essential.
A full driving licence is required, and use of a council fleet vehicle will form a part of the role.
