East Hampshire District Council is looking for a passionate, ambitious Environmental Health Officer/Food & Safety Officer to join our dynamic Food & Safety team. The role offers a real chance to make a difference, protect the community, and support local businesses.
Responsibilities
- Carry out food hygiene inspections.
- Investigate health and safety incidents.
- Follow up on complaints.
- Tackle communicable disease cases.
- Provide advice, guidance and practical solutions to businesses to maintain compliance and success.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in a regulatory or public health environment (essential).
- Strong communication skills – able to work with business owners, the public and colleagues.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential).
