Duties:
- Establish budgets from tender estimates and management of same.
- Liaise with client, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure information, costs, profitability and value meet the requirements of each project.
- Familiarise yourself with contract and execute in accordance with conditions.
- Undertake risk management and value engineering exercises as necessary.
- Monitor programme and assist in notification of delays.
- Assist with Utility applications.
- Measure, certify and issue payment to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Capture and track project changes issuing notifications to client as necessary.
- Issue and negotiate interim monthly valuation with clients representatives.
- Issue and update monthly cash flows, cost reports, and project liabilities to company management team.
Criteria:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong knowledge of contract documents, construction practices and techniques.
- Minimum 4 years relevant main contract experience.
- Knowledge of Traditional and Design and Build contracts.
- Ability to interpret and make calculations based on drawings.
- Competent in use of IT, in particular Excel, Word, and Outlook.
