Role : Quantity Surveyor/ (PQS) Location: Glasgow Our client is seeking a Professional Quantity Surveyor to work with a number of public and private sector clients, you will act to build up strong relationships with a portfolio of clients acting to ensure that they are best represented in surveying needs acting as an agent on behalf of the client to ensure the best deal possible in assessing repair, planned or reactive works. Whatβs on Offer? * Β£50,000 to Β£60,000 * 26 days holiday + bank holidays * 5% Employer pension * Chartership fees paid * Free parking permit What you will be doing? * Delivering comprehensive surveying services across a mixed range of projects and sectors, including commercial, residential, public, and private work * Assessing buildings for structural and dilapidation checks * Working with public bodies and clients in securing the best deal possible for the client * Working in a Construction Consultancy environment * Working on a caseload of multiple projects across different industries * Involved in high-profile schemes that are helping shape the future of the South West What you will need to succeed * Act as a key contributor within the QS team, providing support throughout project lifecycles from initial concept through to final delivery * Pursuing professional accreditation such as MRICS, demonstrating genuine dedication to obtaining chartered professional status * Possess a minimum of 2 years\’ consultancy experience within the construction sector, having operated as part of a Quantity Surveying function * Demonstrate cross-sector expertise, with essential experience in residential projects and desirable background in commercial development/infrastructure * Well-versed in JCT contract forms (essential requirement) with advantageous knowledge of NEC contract suites * Excellent relationship-building capabilities with proven ability to establish and nurture client partnerships * Adept at data interpretation and communication, able to transform complex information into accessible presentations * Understanding of B Corporation principles, social value considerations, and environmentally conscious construction practices
