An opportunity has arisen for a Project Director to be employed by a Tier 1 contractor seconded to the northern division. Ideally, you will be based in or around the Aberdeen area and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region.
What you will be doing:
- Work with Clients and SFT to understand and scope out the required outcomes of identified and potential Hub projects.
- Identify appropriate and affordable funding solutions.
- Support translation of local and national policies into business cases and development plans, including place, net zero, inclusive economic growth, digital and any other arising new policies as they emerge.
- Coordinate feasibility studies and establish teams as required.
- Assess the key risks associated with proposed developments and ensure that these are mitigated or that provision is made to accommodate those risks.
- Support and promote the implementation of the North Infrastructure Commission.
- Provide leadership to project teams to ensure successful delivery over a full range of projects and programmes from initial inception through to on-site delivery.
- Establish close and strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
