We are seeking an experienced and skilled Wireman/Fitter to join our team, working on NGED substations mainly within the NGED region. As a NGED authorised Wireman/Fitter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out wiring, fitting, and earthing works onNGED substations
  • Hold and manage Permit toWork (PTW) and Limitation of Access (LOA) systems
  • Work safely and efficiently, adhering to NGED policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Maintain accurate records anddocumentation

Requirements:

  • NGED authorisation as a Wireman/Fitter
  • Valid PTW and LOAcertification
  • Proven experience working onelectrical substations
  • Strong knowledge ofelectrical wiring, fitting, and earthing practices
  • Ability towork at heights and in confined spaces
  • Excellentcommunication and teamwork skills
  • Ability towork flexibly and adapt to changing priorities

  • City & Guilds 2360 orequivalent electrical qualification
  • SSSTS (Site Safety Training Scheme)certification
