We are seeking an experienced and skilled Wireman/Fitter to join our team, working on NGED substations mainly within the NGED region. As a NGED authorised Wireman/Fitter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out wiring, fitting, and earthing works onNGED substations
- Hold and manage Permit toWork (PTW) and Limitation of Access (LOA) systems
- Work safely and efficiently, adhering to NGED policies and procedures
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Maintain accurate records anddocumentation
Requirements:
- NGED authorisation as a Wireman/Fitter
- Valid PTW and LOAcertification
- Proven experience working onelectrical substations
- Strong knowledge ofelectrical wiring, fitting, and earthing practices
- Ability towork at heights and in confined spaces
- Excellentcommunication and teamwork skills
- Ability towork flexibly and adapt to changing priorities

- City & Guilds 2360 orequivalent electrical qualification
- SSSTS (Site Safety Training Scheme)certification
