Land / Engineering Surveyor – A47 Tuddenham Location: Tuddenham (Norwich area) We are looking for a Land / Engineering Surveyor to join our construction team on a major National Highways project in Tuddenham. You will collaborate with the engineering and project teams to verify information, resolve inconsistencies, and ensure all survey instruments are calibrated and functioning properly. Key Responsibilities – * Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies and promote wellbeing on-site * Collaborate with the survey team to establish and communicate the survey station network before construction * Ensure survey instruments are checked and calibrated as per Survey Procedures * Provide topographical surveys for engineering works and resolve inconsistencies in information provided * Facilitate setting out of works as per contract requirements before starting * Provide training on survey equipment/software to engineering team members as needed * Communicate effectively with engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure information understanding * Assist the Senior Surveyor with budgeting, cost reviews, progress checks, and reporting to ensure proper construction and compliance About You – * Membership or working towards CICES (preferable) or RICS; * Degree in Survey/Geodesy OR related qualification with 2 years\’ experience * Schools\’ certificate in Maths and 1 Science; strong spoken and written English * Excellent CAD skills for 2D and 3D drawings * Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Trimble Business Centre, and Leica Infinity * Experience with survey instruments and associated software
