About the Role Our client is looking for an experienced HV Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic Customer Networks Team. This role involves overseeing the maintenance, remedial, and project activities on customer network sites. The successful candidate will also provide SAP support for major project construction schemes in close collaboration with the Major Projects team. Key Responsibilities * Manage and execute HV maintenance, remedial, and project activities on customer networks. Serve as the primary contact for operational matters, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard in line with legal and contractual obligations. * Support Major Projects construction planning by working with the Project Manager to schedule key project events, focusing on bringing new equipment “on rules” while minimising electrical risk and reliance on LV Authorised Persons/ HV Senior Authorised Persons. * Demonstrate leadership in health, safety, quality, and environmental (HSQE) standards. Promote a positive, safety-first culture and support continuous improvement. * Ensure compliance with training, audits, and records to maintain SAP status. Participate in the Senior Authorised Persons’ standby rota and provide first-response fault support when required. * Assist in the tendering process by conducting site surveys, pricing, and scope development in line with agreed timelines. Required Skills & Experience * Experience working with 11kV / 33kV networks. * Minimum HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or related field. * Previous experience operating as an SAP up to 11kV / 33kV.
