The Role

You will oversee electrical works on commercial projects typically valued between £3–4 million, ensuring quality, safety, and programme targets are met. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, supervising electricians and subcontractors while maintaining high standards across installation, documentation, and compliance.

What You’ll Bring

  • A background as a qualified electrician who has progressed into supervisory roles.
  • Proven experience supervising electrical works on similar-sized commercial projects.
  • Ideally SMSTS certified (highly desirable).
  • Additional certifications such as First Aid, Appointed Person, and Fire Safety are desirable—but full training will be funded if not currently held.
  • Strong digital competency: confident using an iPad for labour management, materials ordering, invoicing, and site processes.
  • A valid UK driving licence with 6 points or fewer.

Pay & Benefits

  • £24 per hour
  • Estimated annual earnings (based on a standard 38‑hour week): ~£47,424
  • Overtime rates:
  • Time and a half for hours 38–50
  • Double time for hours 50+ and Sundays
  • Company van + fuel card (work use only)
