My client is a well-established and highly regarded M&E contractor with a strong presence across Scotland and the wider UK. Following continued growth and a busy project pipeline, they are now looking to appoint a Mechanical Estimator to join their team at their Eurocentral office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator looking to join a business with real substance behind it — quality projects, strong processes, and a team that knows what it's doing.
The Role
You'll be responsible for producing accurate and competitive mechanical estimates across a varied portfolio of commercially focused projects, including schools, universities, office buildings and hotels. It's the kind of work that offers genuine variety and complexity, with projects that are interesting and rewarding to price. Working as part of the commercial team, you'll play a key role in helping the business secure new work and maintain its strong reputation for competitive, well-considered bids.
What They're Looking For
- 3–4 years' experience in a mechanical estimating role, ideally within an M&E or building services environment
- Strong commercial awareness and an eye for detail
- Experience pricing projects across commercial sectors
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently when required
The Package
- Salary of £50,000 – £60,000, depending on experience
- Office based at Eurocentral, Motherwell – 5 days per week, with flexibility available for the right candidate
