BMS Controls Engineer London and Surrounds Job Description Our client is the UK\’s leading facilities management and professional services company, looking after a large, diverse, blue-chip customer base, from banks and retailers, to hospitals, schools, and government offices. They have over 77,000 people, 100+ office locations, and thousands of customers across the country, there\’s no limit to what you can achieve if you work for them. You will need to be suitably qualified and have experience and training of a market leading Building Management System. You will also need to have a strong technical understanding of integration to third party systems and HVAC plant and applications. Ideally you will be electrically biased with at least 3 years\’ experience of Trend Controls and / or Tridium / Niagara. You will be responsible for Provide an exceptional level of commitment and professionalism in delivering value enhancing BMS PPM activities across the clients portfolio of FM clients. Identify and deliver opportunities for improvements and essential remedial works that will increase the performance of the BMS for both our end clients and the Mitie site teams. Carry out surveys, proposals and quoting of small / remedial works as required. Support the wider BMS Operations teams with ad hoc Reactive Callouts. Seek opportunities to gain greater experience of Tridium, Trend and Distech through small project commissioning. Who will you work with? The National BMS Operation consists of a team of over 50 engineers, managers and support colleagues. You will be an integral part of this team and will work alongside and under the direction and guidance of the Regional Operations Manager. Experience & Skills Ideally you will have knowledge and experience equal to the Trend Expert competency level and have the ability to confidently modify software and schematics for 963 & IQVision. You will be confident in the use of SET and or an alternative Software Engineering Tool. Have a strong knowledge of two BMS solutions with the ability to design / modify software and schematics. Be experienced in integrating solutions / systems through a number of different protocols including Modbus, MBus, Bacnet. Ideally have a good knowledge of IT networks and IP Configuration
