An exciting opportunity for a Senior Logistics Co-Ordinator has become available at our Olton branch reporting to the Branch Manager. We require an enthusiastic individual who will have responsibility in all aspects of transport, transport administration, routing and branch administration procedures which will ensure the highest level of service for branch deliveries.
Key tasks will include:
- Ensure highest standard of service to the customer
- Support the Olton Branch Manager in all aspects of Transport, Transport Administration, Routing and Branch Administration procedures
- Routing all depot vehicles, including load building
- Ensure vehicles and cranes are maintained to correct standards
- Ensure vehicle Statutory Regulations are maintained and adhered to
- Booking services and MOTs for vehicles
- Production of daily routing sheets and records
- Health & Safety awareness and adherence
- Ordering Depot Fuel
- Ensure vehicle, driver and site compliance is in line with the DVSA standards
- Lead team briefings when required
- Duty manager responsibilities
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills as the role requires liaising closely with suppliers, customers and colleagues at all levels. Extensive Construction Industry knowledge is key along with a systematic and logical approach with a view to getting things right and achieving ultimate customer service satisfaction.
