The predicted salary is between 25000 - 35000 £ per year.

An exciting opportunity has become available at our Enderby branch. We require an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who can provide excellent customer service skills to our trade and retail customers.

The Person

  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and ideally will have proven experience selling heavyside building materials although this is not essential.
  • The ability to build relationships with employees, local builders, contractors and suppliers is key to the role.

Key Tasks

  • Selling building materials profitably to trade and retail
  • Ensure highest standard of service to the customer
  • Effective use of PC to organise transactions
  • Awareness of new sales opportunities
  • Counter stock maintenance / assisting with stock take preparation
  • Responsibility for the cash sale business
  • Acquiring quotes, following up and achieving orders
  • Meet agreed targets
  • Cover the Trade Counter when required
  • Maintain landscaping areas and all displays
