Yard Operative

An exciting opportunity for a Yard Operative has become available at our Shirley branch.

This role could be ideal for passionate individuals who are eager to start their career in merchanting or building distribution. Whether you\’re fresh out of school or an experienced candidate exploring a new career path, we would welcome your energy and enthusiasm to our team. This role can be a stepping stone to a fulfilling career, with great opportunities for growth and development. No experience is necessary, as full training and support will be given, covering health and safety, customer service, product knowledge and forklift training.

Key tasks will include:

• Delivering a first-class customer service
• Health & Safety awareness / adherence
• Picking orders and serving customers
• Loading and unloading HGV vehicles
• Stock rotation and maintenance
• Basic salary of £28,311 (£12.81 per hour)
