Egypt Education Platform is currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic EYFS Head for immediate hiring at GEMS British International School of Madinaty. The EYFS Head will lead and manage the Early Years Foundation Stage, ensuring a high-quality educational experience for our youngest learners that aligns with our school’s ethos and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of an engaging and effective EYFS curriculum that meets the needs of all children.
- Manage and support the EYFS staff, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all educational standards and regulations, maintaining high standards of safeguarding and welfare for all children.
- Monitor and assess children's progress and development, implementing strategies to support individual learning needs.
- Foster strong partnerships with parents and the community to engage families in their children's learning and development.
- Create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing learning environment that supports holistic development.
- Promote innovative teaching and learning practices that encourage exploration, creativity, and interconnected learning.
- Work collaboratively with the leadership team to support school-wide initiatives, objectives, and improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; a Master’s degree or leadership qualification is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in early years education with a strong background in EYFS leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of EYFS curriculum and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment for both staff and children.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
