GEMS- TBS (The British School El-Rehab) is seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher to join our Primary Department for the Academic Year 2026-2027. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the British Curriculum and contribute positively to the wider school community. Important note: The position is based in Cairo, Egypt, and we are looking for candidates who are willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the British Curriculum
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom learning environment
- Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Assess, track, and report on student progress effectively
- Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
- Participate in school meetings, CPD, and extracurricular activities
- Uphold school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
