Job Description
Behind every successful Financial Adviser is an operations powerhouse, making everything run like clockwork. That's where you come in. As the Operations Manager, you'll be the backbone of the office, the person who ensures that Advisers can focus on what they do best, while you orchestrate the complex dance of modern financial planning operations.
This isn't just about keeping the lights on. You'll be shaping how the business works, improving processes, and directly contributing to the client experience. When a client receives their annual review seamlessly delivered; when a new client is onboarded without a hitch; when the compliance is spot-on - that's your expertise at work.
You’ll be joining the business at an exciting time - a new name in Newcastle and your role will ensure you play a pivotable part in the growth of the business, with flexibility and opportunities available. This fabulous opportunity will include the following responsibilities:-
· Utilise Intellifo fully, to make it work for the business; improve efficiencies, streamline processes and share your knowledge with the team – always ensuring best practice is delivered
· Review all operational processes, make them run smoother, better
· Manage administration – co-ordinate with providers and manage new business applications
· Liaise with the compliance team to ensure all FCA regulations and data protection guidelines are adhered to
· Provide management with reports to make a difference
· Support the administration team, make then feel valued, supported in their development and cared for
· Ensure the office functions (facilities, HR etc) operate as required
· Conduct visits to Head Office, to meet with your team and other colleagues

Candidate Requirements:
· Must have operational experience within an IFA environment and have worked as either a Senior IFA Administrator, Team Leader, Manager or Practice Manager
· Have a comprehensive understanding of all products
· Be an Intelliflo/Intelligent Office expert, with excellent knowledge of functionality, reporting and all the shortcuts
· Exposure to onboarding new clients/M&A would be desirable, not essential (this is NOT a consolidator!)
· Possess sound regulatory knowledge
· Ideally, will have managed an Administration/Paraplanning team
· Understands the fundamentals of office management
· Organisation is your forte
