The Area Sales Manager is primarily responsible for leading the Ego Pharmaceuticals Sales Team for their nominated area with a view to maximise sales. This is done by ensuring the team has clarity of their goals, the resources required and the motivation to succeed. The Area Sales Manager nurtures key senior relationships with customers in their area. They also have the autonomy within agreed boundaries to allocate people and financial resources as they see best fit to optimise the sales output with the resources within their budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluating team performance and providing coaching and training to develop the capabilities of their reports
- Inputting to and implementing the Sales Strategy
- Managing key accounts and nurturing senior KOL relationships
- Ensuring the team have clarity of goals, the resources they need and the motivation to exceed those goals
- Manage resources such as samples, merchandising and promotional campaigns to fulfil account needs and enhance sales outcomes
