We are seeking an experienced part-time Marketing Manager, to work 2 to 3 days per week, based at our Bangor, North Wales office, situated in Parc Menai, with initial visits to our Milton Keynes and Sheffield offices. This pivotal role drives day-to-day marketing activities, ensuring alignment with the company’s brand, strategy, and commercial goals. Following the launch of a new brand identity, website, and marketing strategy, the role sits at the core of marketing execution.

Working closely with the Fractional Marketing Director and senior teams, the successful candidate will manage a wide range of marketing initiatives, including content creation, digital and social media, campaigns, events, CRM and email marketing, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing & Campaign Execution: Support the implementation of agreed marketing plans in collaboration with the Fractional Marketing Director. Deliver agreed activities across digital, content, social, print and events. Manage and improve our marketing tools and processes.
  • Website Management: Update and maintain content on the Egniol WordPress site. Liaise with our agency for larger development tasks. Ensure content is accurate, timely, and aligned with brand positioning.
  • Content Creation: Draft website copy, blogs, and longer form authoritative content including guides, opinion pieces and reports. Develop written case studies and marketing collateral (including brochures, guides, quality content pieces and datasheets). Create short-form content for use across social media and email. Use AI tools where appropriate to support content development, although key to have a human insight and development.
  • Design & Creative: Design and produce branded collateral (e.g. brochures, presentation templates, event assets). Work within new brand guidelines to ensure consistency and visual impact. There is need for a degree of design skills and experience to use design tools to design and set these pieces – including case studies and short and larger/longer form guides and quality content pieces and brochures, using Adobe Suite – aligning to Egniol brand guidelines.
  • Social Media Management: Plan, draft, create visuals/assets/tiles schedule and post content across key social media platforms. Monitor engagement and help build our online audience. Ensure all posts support Egniol’s tone of voice and marketing objectives.
  • Video Editing (Basic Level): Support capture, editing and publishing of short video content for website and social media. Edit existing video footage into short promotional or explainer clips.
  • Email Marketing & Data: Plan and execute email campaigns using client/prospect data. Maintain and update marketing contact databases. Track email performance and support lead nurturing activities.
  • Events & Promotional Activities: Support events logistics, including design of materials, stand assets, and giveaways. Coordinate Egniol presence at industry exhibitions and conferences. Help scope and deliver Egniol-led events/webinars.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track and report key metrics across website, campaigns, social and lead generation. Make recommendations for improvement based on data insights.

Role Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally within consultancy, engineering or environmental sectors (a benefit not a must have).
  • Competent across the full marketing mix, including digital, content, email and events.
  • Hands-on skills in content writing, visual design (Adobe/Canva or similar), and collateral creation.
  • Experience managing company social media accounts professionally (LinkedIn, X, YouTube etc.).
  • Basic skills in video editing and content creation for web and social.
  • Confident working with data to track performance and inform campaigns.
  • Familiarity with WordPress CMS and Google Analytics.
  • High levels of self-motivation and ownership – able to work independently.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including dotted line working relationship with the Fractional Marketing Director.
  • Organised, detail-oriented and adaptable.
