About us
EGM Golf designs and manufactures golf range equipment, including ball dispensers, washers, elevators and collectors. Customers use our equipment every day, so every order needs to be right.
The role
You'll be the customer's main point of contact from the moment Sales hands an order over until aftercare is complete. You'll coordinate onboarding and project orders, follow each one through manufacturing, delivery and installation, and process repeat orders. Throughout, you'll make sure customers get exactly what they expect to receive.
What you'll do
- Confirm specifications, scope and customer requirements before orders go ahead
- Hold welcome calls with new customers and keep a clear checklist for each order
- Work with Manufacturing, Service and logistics to track progress and arrange delivery and installation
- Keep customers updated with realistic, plain-English information
- Follow up two weeks after delivery and see any issues through to resolution
- Introduce customers to EGM maintenance plans and equipment financing
- Keep accurate records in Odoo and Microsoft Dynamics 365, and suggest improvements to how we work
What we're looking for
- Strong customer service experience and a habit of taking ownership
- Technical understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment, including being able to read a specification
- Awareness of manufacturing processes and lead times
- Excellent organisation: you can manage several orders at once without losing track
- Clear, confident communication by phone, email and video call
- An eye for detail, and the instinct to chase a missing detail before it becomes a problem
Nice to have: experience in manufacturing, engineering or B2B equipment; selling service contracts or finance; ERP/CRM experience (training is provided); a project management qualification.
