The Anthro joint venture between Egis and VVB Engineering will provide comprehensive turn-key services for London’s state-of-the-art HS2 gateway station at Old Oak Common. We have been awarded a multi-year contract to deliver MEPHFC (Mechanical, Electrical Public Health, Fire and Communications) systems works.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Anthro Design Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in rail station electrical services design and coordination. As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will review and produce electrical designs, and this may involve assuming a DPE role. We are looking for someone who’s dedicated, diligent, and driven, and will take this challenge head on, being an important part of a dynamic team with big ambitions. You will be based in London and will be required to be in our office at Elephant and Castle 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertaking the CRE role, with/without mentoring
- Prepare and monitor technical submittals for approval by the client
- Responsibility for producing electrical designs to project requirements
- Develop design from feasibility up to As Built
- Production of design proposals (e.g. sketches) for agreement with the client, stakeholders, subcontractors, suppliers etc.
- Writing project communications such as Requests For Information (RFIs)
