The Anthro joint venture between Egis and VVB Engineering will provide comprehensive turn-key services for London’s state-of-the-art HS2 gateway station at Old Oak Common. We have been awarded a multi-year contract to deliver MEPHFC (Mechanical, Electrical Public Health, Fire and Communications) systems works.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our growing team as a Planning Manager based at Old Oak Common station which is part of the HS2 programme. The Planning Manager occupies a strategic role at Old Oak Common station with overall responsibility for planning and scheduling for this Main Option C NEC 3 contract awarded to Anthro JV in November 2023. The scope of works of this work package 23 (WP23) comprises the design, procurement, manufacture, installation assurance, testing and commissioning, care integrate daily shift reports into the programme to ensure efficient delivery and realistic timescales. Liaise with the Procurement team to ensure the Tender Event Schedule (TES) is synced with the latest CL32 programme. Align construction sequencing with procurement lead times and material delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Essential:
- Extensive experience in building construction, MEP experience is a plus. (railway stations preferred)
- Experience in a managerial role leading a Planning team
- Proven track record of successfully delivering major projects within a contractor environment.
- Excellent people management and development skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation and client management abilities
- Financial acumen and experience in project budget management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel as required for project assignments
- Degree in Project Management, Engineering or a related field
- Chartered project manager or similar and member of a related professional body
- Rail sector knowledge
