Are you ready to be a key member of our Water team, driving growth, innovation and sustainability in the UK Water Sector? This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing and innovative team. As our Water MEICA Lead, based in the UK, you will report to the Director of Water and help grow the team and the business, building on the capabilities of Egis water and engineering professionals around the world.
As an ambitious professional with plenty of experience, you will have a background in the UK Water Sector with a good understanding of the challenges it faces as it adapts to a changing climate and increasing population. Your role will involve working with the UK Director of Water to help foster growth within our core team, collaborating with peers across all disciplines and developing existing and new relationships with clients to maximize our combined offerings and secure new wins.
What you’ll do:
- Network and support business development opportunities
- Contribute to UK Water Strategy to identify growth areas and opportunities
- Support in recruitment and development of team
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders
- Provide technical and expert advice to clients, manage and deliver projects
- Collaborate with wider Egis teams to develop market leading and innovative services to our clients

Qualifications:
- BEng or MEng in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Chartered member of a professional institution such as IMechE, IET, CIWEM, ICE etc.
- Demonstrable client, contractor or consultancy experience in UK Water Sector
- Mechanical or electrical technical background with history of collaboration and project/team leadership across both disciplines including instrumentation and control
- Experience in the design of water and wastewater engineering deliverables with multi-disciplinary knowledge and teamwork, including environmental and sustainability aspects
- Knowledge of current UK water industry standards and regulations
- Experience of each stage in the design cycle from concept, feasibility, detailed design, construction and commissioning
- Experience working in D&B environment
