The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

The M25 is one of our Flagship projects in the UK! It is the most used part of the UK Strategic Road Network with it seeing over 200,000 vehicles per day and it’s a critical infrastructure asset for personal and goods vehicles into and around our capital. The network includes around 800 structures and 5 tunnels, so it requires high levels of performance, constant improvement and repairs to keep it operating smoothly.

Join our esteemed Connect Plus Services Technology Team and play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the M25's technological infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the raising, management, and reporting of all cyclic maintenance and defect activities performed by the Technology Services Team in meeting the requirements of the Technology Services Contract. You will coordinate and collate planned night works, send works to the night teams, and update completed works the next morning. Additionally, you will coordinate roadspace and traffic management bookings for maintenance activities (when necessary), and maintain the Service Now job management system for both cyclic and planned works. Key responsibilities:

  • Adhere to ‘Zero Harm’ safety process at all times.
  • Raise and manage cyclic maintenance activities, including job profiles, work tasks, allocations, completions, and certificates.
  • Manage monthly cyclic maintenance metrics for reporting.
  • Ensure NH Service Now data is captured and entered correctly, and all data is accurate for cyclic maintenance and planned night works.
  • Arrange all planned night works to be distributed to the team, and update and send the night shift report.
  • Update job profiles or work tasks from cyclic maintenance and/or planned night works as needed.
  • Provide monthly figures to the Performance Manager for reporting purposes.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and manage roadspace bookings for cyclic maintenance tasks.
  • Provide holiday and sick support for the Reactive Faults Coordinator.
  • Perform general administration tasks and any ad hoc duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • IT literate, conversant with database applications, competent in the use of MS Office applications, MS Excel/Word/Projects (or similar).
  • Previous experience in supporting a Field Based Team.
  • Previous experience in managing booking systems would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the area network would be beneficial.
  • A technical bias would be advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of highways maintenance activities, traffic management, and incident management.
  • Working knowledge of National Highways’ Service Now job management system, and/or Connect Plus Services Network Occupancy Management (NOMS) system.
