Your Tasks

• Operate as a member of a team in the Raw Board department.
• Ensure that the work place, equipment, vehicles and machinery are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
• Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the raw board department and attend any further training courses as required.
• Complete shift reports detailing production, to include any specific data required relevant to shift.
• Observe and comply with all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures and to ensure that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times.
• Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/ accidents and hazards are duly reported.
• Observe and comply with the Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual.
• Liaise with the Shift Supervisor and relevant engineering department as to the condition of the production equipment or regarding issues.
• When required, provide support for holiday / sickness / training / maintenance cover, to help maximise production output and efficiency.
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks as commensurate with the position as agreed with the Shift Supervisor.
• Provide training support for new starters when required

Our Requirements

• Reasonable standard of secondary education.
• Fork Lift Truck Licence.
• One day Health and Safety course.
