  • This role is a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
  • Your Tasks
  • Operate as a member of the team in the Lamination department.
  • Ensure that the work place, equipment, vehicles and machinery are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the lamination department, to include boards/paper preparation, pressing, inspections, banding, fork truck and general warehouse duties.
  • Attend any further training courses as required at other EGGER UK locations.
  • Complete shift reports detailing production, downtime, to include any specific data required relevant to shift.

Liaise with the Shift Supervisor and Day Support with regard to the operations of the shift.

  • Observe and comply with all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures and to ensure that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times.
  • Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/ accidents and hazards are duly reported
  • Observe and comply with the Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual.
  • Liaise with the shift supervisor and relevant engineering department as to the condition of the production equipment or problems.
  • Provide support for holiday/ sickness/ training/ maintenance cover, to help maximise production output and efficiency when required.
  • Our Requirements

Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.

  • Demonstrates a proactive commitment to safety by identifying hazards, following procedures, and taking appropriate action to minimise risk to people, equipment, and the environment.
  • Maintains high standards of quality by working accurately, identifying errors or issues promptly, and taking corrective action to ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Works effectively with colleagues, sharing information and supporting others to achieve team objectives and maintain efficient operations.
  • Consistently delivers work to the required standard, managing priorities effectively and maintaining performance under pressure and within deadlines.
  • Able to Work 12 hour shifts Days and Nights.
