EGGER UK is seeking a dedicated Dispatch Operator to work at our Gatehouse in Hexham. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient dispatch of goods and managing traffic coordination on-site.

Department: Materials Management and Logistics

Starting salary: £15.71/hour, rising to £16.03/hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare necessary delivery documentation for the dispatch of goods.
  • Perform good issue postings and maintain accurate records.
  • Operate the weighbridge for inbound and outbound traffic.
  • Coordinate traffic between the trailer park and factory site.
  • Manage visitor registration and ensure security protocols are followed.
  • Operate the switchboard outside of normal office hours.
  • Execute the Emergency Response Plan as part of the Emergency Contact Centre.

  • Intermediate IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Aware of health and safety regulations.
