The Opportunity

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an undergraduate Civil Engineer to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This 12-month placement will provide exposure to real-world engineering projects, operational support, and cross-departmental collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake specific projects as allocated by the Civil Engineer, Engineering Manager, or Plant Director.
  • Make improvement recommendations where appropriate.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Civil Engineering department.
  • Complete tasks accurately and on time.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Operate safely and efficiently, following risk assessments and method statements.
  • Support project and maintenance work.
  • Maintain and create reports, technical specifications, statistics, and other documentation.

Candidate Requirements

  • Successfully completed the first two years of an appropriate engineering degree.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Well-organised, efficient, and a strong communicator.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
