Warehouse Operator (Fork Lift Driver) in Hexham

We’re looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our Warehouse & Distribution team as Warehouse Shipping Specialists (WHM). This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring our products are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently as they move through our operation.

City: Hexham (UK) Contract Type: Full-time Job-Code: 7212 Department: Materials Management and Logistics
Shift Pattern: Double day shift (06:00 - 14:00hrs and 14:00 - 22:00hrs on a weekly rotation). The starting salary for this role is £15.01 per hour.

What you’ll be doing

• Working as part of a supportive team to ensure smooth day-to-day warehouse operations
• Checking loads against documentation to ensure accuracy and quality
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely (full training provided)
• Handling products carefully to avoid damage and maintain high standards
• Following health, safety, and quality procedures at all times
• Identifying and reporting hazards, issues, or discrepancies
• Communicating with supervisors to resolve operational challenges

What We’re Looking For

• A team-focused approach and willingness to support others
• Good attention to detail and pride in doing a job well
• A proactive attitude and openness to learning new skills
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work responsibly
• Basic IT skills (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Forklift Truck Licence (or willingness to train where possible)
• May have operated HGV or heavy mobile plant previously.
