Your Tasks
- Operate as a member of a team in the Warehouse Department.
- Load and unload vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure loads are correct as per documentation, and that boards are undamaged and correctly packed.
- Ensure that board packs are received and stored accurately and neatly in line with working procedures.
- Participate in stock counts and validations.
- Ensure all company property / equipment is used and maintained with due care and attention.
- Ensure that stock and work areas are maintained in a clean, tidy and organised condition.
- Observe and comply with the safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures and to ensure that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times.
- Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/accidents are investigated and hazards are duly reported.
- Observe and comply with the Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual.
- Attend training courses deemed necessary for this position.
Our Requirements
- Preferred experience with either fork lift trucks, mobile plant or HGV vehicles.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent Integrity and ethical standards.
- Good communication skills.
- Health & safety awareness.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good time management skills.
- Able to work a rotating Monday–Friday shift pattern: one week 06:00–14:00, the next week 14:00–22:00.
