Join EGGER UK as a Production Apprentice. Develop Lean Manufacturing expertise, work on diverse projects, and gain exposure to state‑of‑the‑art processes.

Location: Hexham (UK)

Contract type: Full‑time

The apprenticeship programme will start in summer 2026.

Your Tasks

  • You will work towards a Level 2 in Lean Manufacturing Operations, spending your time on site supported by external training providers.
  • During this time, you will shadow experienced Production Operators in both Rawboard and Upgrading areas, whilst helping to achieve optimum plant utilisation and efficiency.
  • You will also be required to work on a range of projects across the site and prepare short presentations on your progress.

Requirements

  • Good standard of secondary education with GCSEs Level 4 or above in Maths and English.
  • Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
