Your Tasks
- Operate as a member of a team in the raw board department.
- Ensure that the workplace, equipment, vehicles and machinery are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
- Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to operate every aspect of the log yard mobile plant and attend any further training courses as required.
- Complete shift reports detailing production, to include any specific data required relevant to shift.
- Observe and comply with all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures and ensure that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times.
- Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/accidents and hazards are duly reported.
- Observe and comply with the Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual.
- Liaise with the shift supervisor and relevant engineering department as to the condition of the production equipment or problems.
- When required, provide support for holiday/sickness/training/maintenance cover, to help maximise production output and efficiency.

- 360 Timber forwarder grab licence (desirable) however training can be provided.
- Fork Lift Truck Licence.
