Responsibilities
- Train in all areas of the Engineering Stores Department; including the use of the SAP MRP system for converting to planned orders, monitoring levels, and adjusting to historical profiles.
- Monitor and maintain stock to agreed levels and advise the Stores Controller of discrepancies.
- Monitor and update inventory information using a computerised records system. Enter inventory checks and produce physical inventory documentation.
- Issue inventory, process and maintain necessary records, and related work.
- Maintain a professional, polite and courteous manner while dealing with internal and external customers.
Qualifications
- Good standard of secondary education with a minimum of 5 GCSEs grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English.
- Completion of an IOSH Health and Safety course (after you start with us).
- Forklift truck experience is desirable; training will be provided. Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Well‑organised, efficient, personable, and possessing a confident telephone manner.
- Completion of assignments in accordance with your training.
