What you\’ll be doing…
Role
As our Communication Expert, you will be at the heart of our public relations and corporate communication efforts. Your role will include:
- Public Affairs & Lobbying: Support relationship development with political and public bodies to promote the UK timber industry, collaborating closely with WPIF and ConFor.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong connections with local councils, organise factory tours, and ensure aligned internal communication across EGGER sites.
- Media Relations: Handle media requests, coordinate press events, lead crisis communications, and monitor media coverage.
- ESG Communication: Create compelling ESG content, aligning with corporate guidelines and sustainability goals.
- Content Creation: Develop creative materials for video and social media, supporting EGGERs brand and sustainability messaging.
- Internal Communication: Act as Editor for EggerNet UK, support employer branding initiatives, and contribute to internal events.
- Proofreading & Special Projects: Ensure high-quality written materials and assist in key company projects.
- Communications Plan: Analyse current communications and build robust plan for internal and external comms.
What We Are Looking For…

- A degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Public Affairs.
- Experience in corporate and internal communications planning and roll out.
- Proven experience in media relations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence working with various digital platforms and social media channels.
- The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- An innovative mindset with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
