Are you ready to take the next step in your career at EGGER? We are looking for a motivated colleague to join our Health and Safety team in Auchinleck, East Ayrshire. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide competent support, advice, and guidance on safety legislation and good practices to all levels of the business.
  • Oversee incident and near miss investigations, providing the necessary input to ensure that the true root cause is identified and appropriate preventative action(s) are put in place.
  • Plan and undertake audits as per the established audit schedule.
  • Undertake and contribute to H&S projects.
  • Data evaluation and production of monthly and ad hoc reports.
  • Write and review internal health and safety documentation.

What We Need From You

  • NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent qualification preferred, but minimum NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety required.
  • Preferably have had experience within a manufacturing environment within a health & safety role.
  • Demonstration of professional competence and development through providing evidence of continuing professional development.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act and associated legislation and ACOPS.
  • ISO 45001 Internal Auditor (preferred but not essential).
  • Be passionate about safety with the ability to communicate with all levels of the business.
  • Ability to positively influence others.
  • Intermediate standard of IT, including competent use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
