Responsibilities
- Organise and supervise members of the Engineering Stores team, as necessary.
- Provide out of hours support, as necessary.
- Assist the Stock Controller in maintaining agreed levels, advising of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Maintain inventory records for Goods received, Goods Issued and undertake regular Stock Checks, following the relevant working procedures.
- Use SAP system to verify, update, and reconcile inventory information, including data input, to produce reports.
- Ensure the control of equipment/parts for repair, ensuring the control and recording of all information for traceability and cost control.
- Provide all documentation relevant to destination, prepare quotations for approval by relevant departments and control and record all information for traceability and cost control.
Requirements
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reasonable standard of secondary education.
- Experience working in an Engineering Stores related role.
- Good organisation and communication skills.
- Able to undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the Engineering Stores Department.
- Experience of operating a Forklift Truck, however, training will be provided.
- A basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook), and may have experience of SAP system.
- Experience in using SAP systems, preferred.
- Good housekeeping skills.
- An awareness of Health and Safety.
- Able to work 08:30 - 17:00hrs, Monday to Friday.
