What you will be doing
- Undertake a four-year apprenticeship consisting of on-the-job training, primarily on Day Shift Monday to Friday with a concluding period of Shift work to further develop core competencies.
- Complete and maintain all reports and records required for SEMTA (Science, Engineering and Manufacturing Technologies Apprenticeship) awards scheme.
- Liaise with the Electrical Engineer in the repair and maintenance of all equipment on dayshift to the highest standards.
What we need from you
- For all apprenticeships we are looking for self-motivated learners with excellent interpersonal skills.
- You will also need the following: 4 National 5 or equivalent qualifications at Grade C or above, or predicted including Maths, English and Science and Technology based subjects.
- Basic standard of IT skills.
