Are you passionate about building relationships and influencing design decisions? At EGGER UK, we’re looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our growing specification team, helping to drive our presence within the architecture & design community. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, spotting opportunities, and developing their expertise in specification sales within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building and developing relationships with architects, designers, contractors and key brands to promote EGGER products and services.
  • Identifying and pursuing new specification opportunities across your territory.
  • Delivering engaging presentations and product training to the A&D community.
  • Attending networking events, exhibitions and industry conferences.
  • Managing and tracking project pipelines, linking opportunities to sales outcomes via CRM (Salesforce).
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues across sales, marketing and product teams to maximise opportunities.
  • Keeping up to date with market trends, sector activity and competitor developments.
  • Planning and carrying out regular customer visits (minimum three days per week in the field).
  • Providing valuable feedback to internal teams to support ongoing product and service development.

What we’re looking for:

  • A qualification in a business related field (Degree/HND/NVQ) or relevant commercial experience.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage a range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to manage your own diary effectively.
  • An interest in design, materials or interiors (experience within specification or commercial sales is advantageous but not essential).
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
