  • Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, and technical teams to understand operational needs.
  • Support the implementation of data-driven decision-making tools and dashboards.
  • Assist in testing, documenting, and rolling out new digital tools and systems.
  • Work with teams to identify practical use cases for Microsoft Copilot and support colleagues in understanding how AI-assisted tools can enhance their daily tasks, productivity, and decision-making.
  • Promote awareness and adoption of Copilot capabilities, including guidance on effective use in areas such as reporting, documentation, communication, and workflow automation (within company governance frameworks).
  • Provide user support, guidance, and training to colleagues adopting new digital solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help drive a culture of innovation within the site.
  • Support teams to explore application cases for Copilot to improve.

Our ideal candidate looks like this:

  • Currently in your second year studying towards a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, IT, Data Analytics, or a related technical discipline.

  • High level of attention to detail and structured working approach.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to understand and improve processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and eager to contribute to real business improvements.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 applications and Knime is desirable.
  • Basic understanding of databases, data structures, or programming concepts.
  • Awareness of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies an advantage.

  • Exposure to a wide range of technical, production and support functions.
  • Hands-on experience with modern digital tools and technologies.
  • The chance to make a tangible impact on operational efficiency and workflows.
