Please note: You must be at least 18 years old by 31 December 2026 to be eligible for this apprenticeship. From January 2027, the role requires working a rotating 12-hour shift pattern (06:00–18:00 and 18:00–06:00). Apprentices under 18 cannot legally undertake night or industrial work.
What you will be doing...
You will work towards an SCQF Level 2 in Wood and Timber Industries, spending your time on site supported by external training providers. During this time, you will shadow experienced Production Operators in all areas of the Production department, whilst helping to achieve optimum plant utilisation and efficiency. You will also be required to work on a range of projects across the site and prepare short presentations on your progress. Attend other locations across EGGER UK.
What we need from you...
For all our apprenticeships, we are looking for self‑motivated learners with excellent interpersonal skills as you will be working with a range of departments. You will also need the following:
- Good Standard of secondary education with National 5 qualifications or equivalent in Maths/Applications of Maths and English.
- Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
