Academy Performance Coach

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the world’s leading rugby development programme, we are seeking a full-time Academy Performance Coach to join our team, focusing primarily on the London & South East region.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting phase of growth within our programme. Our Women's team were recently crowned champions of the Dubai 7s, while our Men’s team lifted the Shield at the Safari 7s. Additionally, our U18 squads are currently competing in the prestigious Global Youth 7s in Auckland, New Zealand.

In this role, you will play a key part in the EggChaser Performance family, with responsibilities spanning across Elite, Development, and Academy coaching.

While the position is field-based (mainly on sports pitches), you will also attend occasional meetings at EggChaser HQ.

We are looking for a driven and ambitious coach with extensive knowledge of 7s rugby and a passion for our playing and coaching philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead coaching sessions across our Elite, Development, and Academy programmes
  • Head up the coaching for our London, South East, and South Central Academy programmes
  • Deliver masterclasses at partner schools and clubs
  • Attend Schools 7s events to identify high-potential players
  • Coach Academy squads at both domestic and international tournaments
  • Collaborate with the events team to coordinate trial days and tournaments
  • Build relationships with new partners and set up additional masterclasses
