What You’ll Do
- Operate and monitor extrusion line machinery, coilers, and material handling equipment.
- Conduct hourly quality checks and accurately record results.
- Receive, store, and handle raw materials using FIFO (First In, First Out) methods.
- Log production output, scrap, and non‑compliances using our in‑house system.
- Identify and report non‑compliant product following set procedures.
- Support production efficiency by applying SMART working principles and reducing waste.
- Assist with fabrication on butt fusion and electrofusion machines (training provided).
- Proactively report hazards, near misses, and contribute to a culture of safety.
- Maintain and care for plant equipment – reporting faults or damage as needed.
- Actively participate in ISO compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Uphold company standards for health & safety, conduct, and environmental practices.
- Contribute to team KPIs around safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
- Support the Operation Clean Sweep initiative to reduce plastic waste.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (extrusion preferred), training is also provided.
- Strong team player with a proactive attitude and can communicate effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Comfortable using precision measuring tools (e.g. micrometers, calipers, OD tape).
- Forklift/telehandler experience, training is also available.
- Willingness to complete relevant training courses internally and externally.
