As our Business Improvement Specialist, you will play a key role in driving our Project Excellence portfolio of strategic improvement initiatives across the business. You’ll be working with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring project progress, and securing alignment from stakeholders at all levels - from project owners to senior leadership. Your work will span everything - from project planning and stakeholder management to data analysis and process optimization. You’ll apply best‑practice project methodologies, challenge existing workflows, and make sure that inputs, decisions, and deliverables are provided on time and with the right quality.

Key tasks- Lead and support improvement projects using strong project management principles
- Analyse project data to identify bottlenecks, root causes, and opportunities for optimization
- Own project plans, milestones, and deliverables, following up relentlessly
- Engage, coordinate, and challenge stakeholders to ensure progress and accountability
- Track performance metrics and communicate project status clearly and effectively
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and help drive cost savings and operational excellence
- Train and coach colleagues in improvement techniques
- Act as a change agent who challenges the status quo and elevates project management practice
To succeed in this role, you combine solid project management fundamentals with the ability to apply them in a fast-paced, engineering and project-oriented environment. The qualifications below define the technical foundation, professional experience and personal capabilities needed to deliver high-quality engineering solutions across the full plant life cycle:
- A business degree or similar background, preferably complemented by Project Management competencies
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent qualification will be a strong advantage
- Strong experience in data gathering and data analysis across multiple projects
- Proven track record managing change and continuous improvement projects in a large organization
- Solid project management capabilities, with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization
- Experience with project management tools, and excellent skills in Excel, Access, and other relevant systems
- Excellent project management and communication abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Self‑driven, structured, and capable of working independently
- Detail‑oriented with a strong sense of ownership
- Confident in holding stakeholders accountable and navigating competing priorities
- Able to anticipate issues and adjust plans accordingly
- A completer/finisher who delivers results on schedule

This role is a full-time role contracted for 40 hours per week. National travel will be a requirement of the role and some occasional and ad-hoc international travel may be required.
